I would like to extend my deepest heartfelt condolences to the Payne family during this time of profound loss. Congressman Donald Payne Jr.'s passing has left a void in our hearts that words cannot adequately express.
As the Executive Director of Aspira Inc. of New Jersey, I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand, Congressman Payne's unwavering dedication to the youth of Newark. His tireless advocacy and commitment to providing opportunities for growth and empowerment have left an indelible mark
on our community.
Congressman Payne was not only a stalwart for equality, justice, and education but also a devoted friend to the Latino and Hispanic community. His compassionate leadership and unwavering support have touched the lives of countless individuals, inspiring hope and igniting positive change.
Furthermore, Congressman Payne lived and upheld the remarkable legacy of his father, the Honorable Congressman Donald Payne, Sr. His commitment to service and his passion for creating a better future for all
will forever be remembered and cherished.
Lastly, I considered Congressman Payne, Jr. a friend, mentor, and trusted colleague. He led with grace, advised with profound wisdom, and exuded
a level of integrity and morality that was unmatched.
During this difficult time, may you find comfort in the cherished memories and the profound impact Congressman Payne, Jr. had on so many lives. His legacy will continue to inspire us to strive for a more just and equitable society.
